New England Stamper: First Rubber Stamp

March 14, 2010

First Rubber Stamp

I'm in a purging mood at the moment and am trying to get rid of 'stuff' that I just don't use anymore. While cleaning out a drawer, I came across the very first rubber stamp that I bought. I've no idea how long ago that was, but I found it in a bargain bin in Michaels for $6.99 - it still has the sticker on it! The image is from Inkadinkado and is called Illuminata.

I still like it after all these years, so figured I make a quick ATC with it.

Divine Influence

Do you remember your first rubber stamp? Do you still like or use it? I'd love to know!

Have a happy week!

I can see why you still like it and why it was the first one you chose! Beautiful! Love the pearls in her hair!
I still use my first stamp, also a lovely lady!

This is a beautiful ATC - love the changes in colors, the pearls... and it's still a great stamp! :) Can't say I remember what my first stamp was, but one of the earliest was Anna Griffin's tulip stamp - still love it (gotta dig that one out for spring!)

Ali! I do still have my first rubber stamps--they were from when I was pretty young. They were a set, and included abcs, and some silly cartoon images. I don't use them anymore, but I still love them.
I have to say, your first rubber stamp was much more artistic than mine!

I don't remember my first, but it was probably a leaf stamp. That's all I bought early on. My first SU sets were Fantastic Foliage and Lace Snowflakes.

No I don't and if I did I wouldn't know where it was. This is very artistic and pretty. You should keep this stamp.
