I had a little time today between loads of laundry, so I checked out today
Clean and Simple challenge on Splitcoaststampers. It's a great sketch by Regina. I still had
Rogue Redhead's Floriculture on my work table, so I reached for my favorite from the set, the fern and created an emboss resist panel.

Firstly, I stamped some script onto a cream background, then stamped the ferns with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive (both SU) inks over the entire piece. Finally, I stamped some more ferns on top with Old Olive, stamping off several times to get a shadow effect. Here's a closer look:

Oops - I hear the washing machine beeping. Time for another load - sigh.....
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week,
Ali

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing....your card is so peaceful, also, you can use this design for different occasions. Just one question, you started off by saying "Firstly, I stamped some script onto a cream background." What is a "script?"
ReplyDeleteThanks again,
