I've taken a 6 month sabbatical from Gingersnap Creations. My fellow Founding Femme, Sharon, has been very supportive and gracious, especially as I've left her to deal with everything. Luckily the fabulous DT over there have stepped up to the plate to help her out. Thank guys!
So, I'm going to start the slow process of stamping and blogging again to keep myself sane. I can't promise amazing work or posts everyday; I can't promise to visit everyone's blog; I can't promise to enter a dozen challenge a week; but I promise that I'll set a side a little time each week for myself to get my fingers dirty and play with some rubber!

Over the next few weeks I'll share with you some about techniques for finding inspiration when you've mislaid your stamping and blogging mojo. The first tip is:
Blog 'Unblogged' Projects
Dig out those projects that you made a while ago and didn't share. You know you have some in your photo albums!
- The ho-hum one that didn't make the cut the first time around;
- The challenge project that you made but missed the deadline;
- The magazine submission that didn't get published;
- The 20 projects you did for one tutorial, then didn't have space to include them all;
- The 'crappy photo of the great project' - the one with orange glow that looks like your 4-year old took it - with a throwaway camera!
- The project that you just plain forgot about or got lost in the pile.
The 3 projects I've shown here today are scraplings I made back in September last year. Hope you like them. For more about scraplings, check out this great post.

Until next time.....
Ali
Hey Ali,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! We all need a break now and again, but glad to see you'll be giving yourself some mental health craft time, too.
