New England Stamper: Technique Junkies Newsletter

Technique Junkies Newsletter

I am so thrilled to be a Guest Designer for the current issue of the Technique Junkies newsletter. If you don't already subscribe, I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed. Click here for more details.

I'll share the cards I made throughout the month, but I'll start off with 2 this morning using a technique called Glitter Ribbons. I used glitter from a combination of different companies - Art Glitter, Martha Stewart and Stampin' Up! And the background I used to adhere the glitter to was Scor-Tape sheets that I purchased from Papertrey. The technique is pretty straightforward and like most glitter projects has a 'wow' factor. Hope you can give it a try!

The first card uses some new Stampin' Up! products - a stamp set called Just Believe and some gorgeous new Antique Brads.

I'm entering this second card into our new Holiday Happenings feature on Gingersnaps. On the 25th of each month, Sharon will challenge us to create a card to get ahead for the holidays. This month the cards have an outdoor theme. I thought this Christmas tree from SU's Lovely as a Tree would work well for it.

I hope you can get ahead for the holidays and play along with our 'Keep Ahead of the Calendar' challenge.

Have a splendid weekend,

Ali
